WHY DOES THE GAME MAKE YOU PARTICIPATE IN CANDY ROYALE IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE. It’s really not that hard to add an ‘x’ to the box. It frustrates me every time I get kicked out the royale even though I didn’t want to play it in the first place.

They did put back the X for some days, just to take it off again. LOSERS!!!

BTW:
on Android, block Candy Crush connections using Netguard (free app), and Candy Royale will stay off. Lock/unlock Candy Crush connection at will (you may want to re-enable it to get prizes) but remember that the WasteOfTimeRoyale will be back.
Annoying, but less annoying than the hideous useless waste of time CR is.

@drschoc I do the same thing to. It is annoying.

Good to know people have being complaining about this for years, I am a long time player and just joined the community but I am astonished this is still an issue players are complaining about. I can't enjoy playing the game without being bamboozled by gold competitions and races I DO NOT CARE FOR. Then I close the app and come back 6 months later....I think am might reach an all time irritation to uninstall sigh

@BizDoc You just have to close the app and restart it a few times. That’s what i do when i am not ready to play it

@danceforjoy7 I do okay on the critter catch. I have won it a few times. The Candy Royale is ok but it pops up too much.

@cheetah74 You just have to close the app and open it up again. It usually goes away. Might take a couple times. Then it goes to the events tab.

please give the option to opt out of candy royal or at least an X . And for the love of all things, fix how many times it pops up in any given session. It’s almost enough for me to delete the game. It popped up 4 times in a row then after 2 games it did another 3 times back to back. It’s really frustrating.
