To feed the frog use colour bombs: Hit a colour bomb against a candy the same colour as the frog. Here is also a link to a page explaining how the frog works. This is important to understand as it will feature again in other levels:

This is in fact normal. I never get those either when there is an end-of-episode event going on. I think the Concert Chaos event overrides the stars and puts the free gifts on hold, either because of a glitch or deliberately. I have seen this many times. Those stars are a free gift so I don't see how players can expect it to be a right to get something at this point. It's King's game and King make the rules.

A word of warning: if you use a gift card you may lose ads from your game, if you do see advertisements to gain free moves and boosters. Players who pay money on anything in the game lose the ads and I think this also applies to using cash value gift cards.

Hi @ChrisR1956 You have done very well getting this far up in the game without ever having spent any money. King don't like it though, so they are now hoping that you will get desperate and frustrated enough to finally spend some real money on boosters. It happens to most players a lot earlier than this. The last 2000 levels of the game are designed to make players use up all their reserves to become paying customers.

If you do pay you will lose the ads completely.
