Hello @saygrays the issue of the Race starting, but not starting is a well known issue and commonly called the false flag issue.
It is both temporary and permanent and it isn't due to be fixed as the issue is caused by the mechanics of the Episode Race.
It is permanent because it effects a lot of people that are near to the end of the map, but it is temporary because the issue can be managed by delaying when you start the new levels
Where is the token activate button?
I noticed other players are able to activate the multiplier, but my multiplier is not showing up and they are significantly increasing their place while I don’t even see multiplier activate buttons. HELP

Yes. I played 3 episodes yesterday, but played them even later than you, so I got all 3 episode race rewards. I agree that it looks likely we will have to give up on the episode races for stage 5 (final knockout 2), unless we want to risk late entry, which might make sense if Christine's latest theory is true. I haven't decided whether or not to try that for stage 5 yet - have to see if I get through stage 4 first! 😄

I've started relatively early in the round too. I need to put in some long stints to prepare myself for future rounds to see what I'm capable of and luckily I can do this with just unlimited lives due to being on Star Tournament, so resource cost is relatively low.
I will therefore probably average over the 8 hours Christine suggests, but I would prefer to be significantly ahead (on the leaderboard I can see at least).
I will treat my long stints as data collection exercises that will help me optimise my strategy.
There is currently only 20 players on my leaderboard too, which was lower than I expected and by my calculations if all boards end up this size means we are down to 2 million or under participants left based on ending up with the max of 99 per board and based on assumption they will only have 10 final leaderboards.
I completed the first episode race yesterday about 3 hours or so after release and although the flag was showing when I started the 2nd episode, as soon as I completed it the widget disappeared and I wasn't in an episode race. I delayed my start to the 3rd episode until later on (at least 8 hours from launch) but again wasn't entered into the race, so didn't complete this and waited until the following morning to complete where I was eligible for the 4th episode. Does scupper my plans for Final Knockout 2 slightly as will probably have to forgo 3 episode races which isn't ideal.

No Update to Candy Crush Saga on Windows yet. Can anyone confirm when Windows and Apple devices get the 1.324 update? If this update doesn't come until next Wednesday, then Windows and Apple users will be out from the next new levels as well as the current ones were the last that can be explored with 1.323.

Yeah I just checked again for updates too but nadda. Were your new levels glitchy? I haven't bothered to play them yet today.
