@QueenB There has been an overwhelming voice of anger and despair in this community about this change in the chocolate box, with complaints spread out over a number of different threads.

This thread has the best header naming the one change that players hate so much, so I will add my spin on this. Making chocolate box tasks "new wins only" means that players who are stuck in the game cannot progress through the chocolate box any more. In the past we used to advise such players to use the Season Pass and Chocolate box to collect gold and boosters to get back on their feet so that they can continue with their games, taking a break from playing new levels. This was one of the options I used to advise players on when they posted here about being stuck on an impossible level.

Now this option is no longer available and players stuck in the game can do just two things: Either quit playing or pay money to play. I am actually rather sad that I now so often end up advising players to uninstall the app. Changes like this one are to blame. It is a change that was never discussed in any official feedback thread or poll, it was thrust upon players from above and nobody here likes it. Perhaps there is still a chance for the powers that run the game to turn back on this. It is the single worst change that has been made in 2025. There needs to be some way for players who are either stuck or enjoy replaying older levels to continue to enjoy playing Candy Crush. King cannot continually want to replace the entire player base year after year. My only suggestion to players stuck now is to start a brand new game or quit Candy Crush. Is that really what King want players to do?
