Hello @Anacm102 Absolutely you are correct: The game gets harder during All Stars. This is so that King can make a good profit from players spending money during the competition. It's to be expected. So all players see fewer free rewards during the competition.

I started right on deadline and was during the final 2 episode races I needed to complete so my scoring was mixed before my first hour of unlimited testing during Star tournament.

Star tournament in my opinion, although could be proven wrong, should result in the minimum gold bar / premium booster spend to compete. The only major downside is the inability to earn weekly contest podiums (but is minor). Although a lot is dependent on what individual offers a person receives. The change to daily stamps could be a gamechanger allowing these players to use this reward.

I can score reasonably whilst earning various rewards with zero boosters and actually earn stripes/wrapped booster if I run out of lives and redo last normal level to try and earn new ones. My main issue is with the 4th gold chocolate box (but if I’m not on unlimited lives will generally get UFOs as part of triple ads on some incomplete levels).

If I play unlimited lives it reduces ads but I can then increase my scoring significantly with zero boosters and more so if I play the standard minor ones. You never have the issue of impossible levels as if you skip one you just move on to the next.

My tournament is full of European players and as at 10am GMT I was 2nd in my table (33k to my 19k). 3rd 19k, 4th 15k, 5th 10k and others ranging low thousands and probably a one level person. One of them is also at star tournament and others between levels 2500 and 16000.

I am not playing any star levels today due to daily stamps so will need to replenish my stocks through chocolate box and watching ads. What a day!

I’ll probably play tomorrow and go hard to break the back of my table and guarantee top 3 as much as I can, whilst minimising cost.

I've never seen those levels THIS hard

Making the levels harder is something that King has always done for the All Stars @christinewupp but it just seems more blatant this year.

As I have said my Episodes have gone from no hard levels at the start of an Episode prior to the All Stars to two Hard (including Super Hard/Nightmare) levels and now three at the start. Obviously the five levels at the end of an Episode are still there as well.

The qualifier took me half an hour of playing to gain a winning position using one Episode, but the First Knockout took an hour for one Episode. The difference being how hard the levels were to complete and the number of retries.

I will join the Second Knockouts sometime on Saturday but this is as far as I got last year. Maybe I will just use all of my tokens for a laugh.
