You are correct. This level appears to be impossible to pass without paying gold. It is not uncommon to have such levels now (November 2025) throughout Candy Crush but it is a much more common sight in the last 2000 levels of the game. At this stage players cannot earn as much gold from events (such as the episode race) as they are forced to spend to pass such levels. So if you were to pay to pass this one you can expect to see a lot more of such levels in the episodes to come.

Players who have got this far without spending money are not valued by King: They are a lost cause to them. Some players still have a lot of gold bars saved up and they are now being forced to use them. Impossible levels like this one are part of the method used by King to make the last few non-paying customers pay. Some of us did manage to get to the end of the map but only because we had thousands of gold bars still saved up. However if you reach this level range with no gold left then that is the end of the road for you. It's either pay or quit.

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. been playing since 2002 or 2003 this last soc seven months have been TOTALLY different GAME? And now , getting “internet issues” when trying to purchase gold bars. IMPOSSIBLE! I believe the games are now designed not to be enjoyed as in the past but to FRUSTRATE, why so few moves for a game that takes double the amount of moves to move forward. This is intentional. Reduce my playing time. Our opinions aren’t being heard!
