Re: What will it take to win All Stars 2026?
IIt might be a mix of level range, activity and randomisation.
You are probably right. It might be just the way they treat higher-level players. Plus, I played little before the first two rounds but more last week, and I'm afraid this affected how the app treated me.
The effect is that we can't outplay the app.
And why not? That's why you run tests and analyze the game, isn't it. We'll see how it goes.
Re: It's almost time to start.
Hi @Guliz_BJK 👋
I think there’s a small mix-up here, so let me clarify.
The Level 3 you see on your profile in the Community is only your community rank. It shows how active you are here in the forum, but it is not related to the game and it does not affect Candy Crush All Stars.
To participate in Candy Crush All Stars, the requirement is about your level in the game, not your level in the Community.
As long as you have reached level 5 in Candy Crush Saga in the game, the event can appear in your game when it is available in your region.
So you don’t need to reach Community level 5. Your Community rank does not affect the tournament.
Hope that clears things up a bit 😊
Re: What will it take to win All Stars 2026?
I am not posting my final leaderboards this morning since none of them look any different from last night when I posted them here before going to bed.
I woke up just before my alarm was due to set off (it's always the way, my inner clock seems to be the best alarm clock). Instead of crushing I used the last hour to check how many levels each of my opponents had played during the entire round and if any multipliers were used. Here the results:
Game above level 13,000:
Levels played ranged from 1 to 54. The player who played 54 levels used no tokens to qualify, but one player used tokens to qualify playing 12 levels.
Qualifying score: 8090
Game at level 5000:
This was the last of my games to enter with one and a half days left. This was the board that scared me by having three players on over 11,000 points in the first hour. They practically all stopped playing after that:
Levels played ranged from 0 to 38 after I noted their levels down. I had paused playing for maybe half an hour before I looked at the player cards, waiting for my leaderboard to fill up. I must have looked at the player cards and taken my notes too late.
Qualifying score was 11,345
Obviously all three early leaders used tokens.
Game at level 1700:
Levels played ranged from 16 to 116 and I think there was no one playing a token.
Qualifying score was: 8154
The top player scored 207 per level and played 116 levels, presumably without tokens. If they found a level to milk this is possible at their level range. The player who qualified in third scored 200 per level and played 46 levels also at a good level range for high scores.
Game at level just below 1000:
Levels played by the others were: 0,7,15, 18, 21, 24, 25, 28, 44 and 136. One token was used.
Qualifying score: 5368
The two qualifiers: One player at levels 18,000+ played 136 levels with an average score of 123 blue per level. The other qualifier did use a token. They played only 18 levels with a token to qualify. The player in fourth place played 44 levels with no token.
There were some nice prizes in the boxes this time and now we're done with this part of the competition.
Good luck with the final knockouts! What will await us in those is everyone's guess.
My thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread and provided such valuable data. It's been fun! 😀
Re: X10 Boosters
I made it to the final knockouts even after using all of mine in the first round of qualifiers because I wasn't paying attention at first and didn't realize this was a big competition. I figure a lot of people probably did that. Got 1st place on second knockouts without the multiplier. I have only been playing this game since late January.
Re: What will it take to win All Stars 2026?
What a difference two hours made? It seems strange and I wonder if you can offer any guesses as to what gave the cat such easy opponents compared to the dog. I fail to see the pattern but maybe you can spot something you did that may have influenced the strength of the opponents assigned? It's probably not much use to know now of course.
Congratulations on your strategy. Those were nice prizes this time.
Candy Crush All Stars - suggestion
A suggestion to change the "Final Knockout" rounds.
For those who make it to the Final Knockout, it may be easier to have a total purple candy count after the three rounds instead of just moving the first place person forward. It seems it would be much easier to filter on the top 10 - weed out those who fail to meet the criteria of the game to reach your final 10 for the live games. If there is a tie, maybe you look at how longer the person has played, how much the person has spent in real dollars trying to reach the live show. I played two years in a row. Both years getting to the final knockout round only to not be first to move on and watching people playing around the clock without ever leaving. There should maybe be new rules about that as well…like a person must be be away at least 2 hours during a 24 hour period. This will be my last year after spending money last year and this year that I could have spent elsewhere. thanks.
