On Level 829, it is not dropping the "check" candy boosters, which are clearly needed to win this game. It gives you one at the beginning of the game and that's it. I'm not spending another penny on this game until it is fixed.

You must mean that you've selected to use the Mystery Candies in this level, as this level does not start with Mystery Candies.
Sometimes those boosters do nothing and help with nothing, all depends on the board. Sometimes you've wasted one but the next game you might get heaps of mystery candies falling.
