why do i need friends to send me lives to begin a quest?

I have passed level 440 candy crush saga and in order to continue I have to recurve help from friends, why is that?

Quests are for mobiles only, You need help from friends so you can move forward in the game. You need to get 3 tickets from 3 friends, but if you choose to do quests instead, it's one quest per day over three days. The levels you play are chosen at random. The quickest and easiest way to move forward, is to connect to Facebook and ask your friends for tickets.
