Friends have sent me lives and lately they are not registering on my iPhone. And on my laptop, the game freezes frequently.

Do you have the same problem on Facebook too? Make sure you have the latest version of the app installed, enough memory on your iphone. If all of your levels are synced, as a last resort I would try completely uninstalling and re-installing the app. Let us know how you get on
