Candy Crush crashes on my iPad 1 after new update

After I updated Candy Crush a couple of weeks ago, I cannot play it anymore. It looks like it is loading but then crashes and returns to my homescreen. I play on my (I know -pretty old) iPad1 iOS 5.1.1 but it should still work. 

What to do???

I really miss playing Candy Crush!
