candy crush saga does not load up on ipod touch 4th generation

i am using an ipod touch 4th gen running on ios 6.1.6 the issue i am facing is that when i start the application candy crush saga it opens reaches the landing page and then ends up i have tried re installing the applications a few time but the issue still persists

    Make sure that you have enough memory of  your device. Don't run other applications in the background. Re-install the game and then restart the device.. this should work :) Let me know how you get on.

    reloaded app. Closed other apps. Restarted. DID NOT WORK. STILL CANNOT PLAY
