The dotted candy bombs combine and do not clear the licorice, only the candy on the non-jelly side. I loaded the game on my android and cleared it all with the bombs and moved on. On my laptop I am stuck for almost a year on 210.
I think you might be watching some old videos of this level. In the old version if you combined 2 color bombs it would clear the left side but then the level got changed up and now that tactic doesn't work.
Now you have to come up with a new game plan. Clear the left side a little, then use the color bombs to clear it out even more. Check it out here, pick up some tactics.

Unable to purchase
Anyone else have an issue with the booster wheel not letting you spin? Mine says come back in xxx hours for the next spin, but the next spin never comes. I am so stuck on level 7280 and I need some booster help!!
