Can't except lives on PC

When on my PC in facebook I see the notification with a number saying I have requests (lives etc). when I open candy crash it shows an envelope but I can't open it. On my phone and my laptop if I click on the notification in facebook it opens these straight away and doesn't show the envelope. What settings on my computer do I need to change to allow me to accept/get these lives. The rest of the game plays fine.

Hi Jenny, please make sure you have your Facebook settings correctly setup for Candy Crush Saga. The Facebook privacy policy has changed over a month ago or so, just go to your settings, select 'Apps,' pick your game and click on 'Edit.'
