Facebook error re-login requested on Candy Crush

I play Candy Crush just fine, but my dad can't play it from his computer no matter what browser he uses. He is on Windows 7 as well. He gets the error "An error has occurred. Please re-login or try again later." He logs in again, but it does no good. His wife also plays Candy Crush, sometimes on the same machine, and has no issues. What can he do?

The game is embedded into Facebook so it sounds like a Facebook issue to me. Has he tried any other games? 

I read whilst searching around that this error means there is not enough memory available to play. So maybe clear out the browser cache etc to create some space. Take a look on Google, see what you can find.
