Game took my gold bars and gave me nothing

I intially has 22 gold bars. I played today and got to the end where I needed 3 tickets. Sonce I had 22 gold bars I tried to use 9 to buy instant access. It didn't finish loading...twice. Now I have 4 gold bars and still need a ticket. So it ripped me off by 18 bars.(9x2=18)

    Exactly the same for me, through Google Play Store. Docked 18 bars when trying to move on a chapter. Restored purchases to move on, but the extra 9 bars were not refunded.
