White screen replacing map and game freezes since last update 5 days ago.

Since last update 5 days ago, after using the initial 5 lives, the "ask friends" comes up and then the game map disappears and a white screen replaces the map and game freezes.   Cannot continue the game without reloading and all accumulated lives are lost.  The scroll map doesn't work either. Problem with both home PC and work MAC. Must be a bug in the game. No help from King yet.

Using Chrome on PC - Firefox on MAC. Problem exists on both browsers
