Why can't I access all my friends on candy crush

ive been playing candy crush for some time and over the past few months I have made more friends on Facebook who play the game. But my problem is that when the game first loads up and asks for you to send extra lives to your friends, the game only lets me see 5 friends names to send lives to. Not all the others. It won't let me search for any others. Yet when I send a lives request all 16 friends come up on the list to ask them. Why can't I see them all in the other list?  It's not fair as one of my friends who has just started playing sends me lives but is moaning at me for not sending to her. Can you please help. Thanks.

I'm sure that the box that pops up to send lives has a search function where you can type your friends names? It's in the Facebook version I know that much. Its in the top right hand corner of the pop-up. 

This has been happening to me for a long time. Even today I added my friend on Facebook and went to send her lives in the candy crush app and when I went to search up her name, other friends with her name came up but not her. It's happened with numerous people as well. This issue needs to be addressed. Maybe make it like the Facebook website on a computer where it shows Facebook friends and candy friends. Because as of right now, it's not working to send most of my friends lives
