After the game, a "Claim Reward" prompt would appear, but it was often not responsive. Usually the game would reload after awhile. Yesterday, the screen froze and I couldn't replay the game or clear that screen even hours later. So, I deleted the app and reloaded it. Now it's put me back to Game #1! Is there anyway to recover my other settings? I'm NOT starting over!

Did you synchronize your progress before you deleted the app? If you sync'd up with the kingdom or facebook then you will be able to get it back. However if you didn't then I'm afraid your progress is lost. Always remember to synchronize!
