what is wrong with level 1001?

I watched the demos on you tube and the items sure don't drop like that for me.  I have played all weekend and to no avail.  Used up all my boosters and wasted my lives, day in and day out.  The most I can get to drop is 3 out of 6, that being because one only drops down after the other is gone.  Is there a trick to get them to drop all at once like on the demo?  Please help...
