i have updated version of candy crush saga. i even connected to facebook. my friends are getting separate lives in day mode and night mode( owl mode). but i am getting only 5 lives for both modes.

Yeah this seems to be a test feature as some people have it, some don't. I had it for a while but then it disappeared a couple of months back without warning. As it's not a fully implemented feature there's nothing we can really do about it but wait and if it does become implemented or if it gets scrapped.
