game not successful at connecting with Facebook

I have recently updated to windows 8.1, so have been able to install candy crush saga. But it won't connect with Facebook for me to go and ask friends or for me to go straight to where I left

    Do you mean you have windows 10? I think the app is standalone for non Facebook users. Can you not play on Facebook?
