Email not recognized? Please help.

My boyfriend broke his phone and is now using a new phone. Upon downloading Candy Crush Saga and trying to log in using the email he signed up with, it says his email is not registered. He does not use Facebook, so only signed up with King using his email address. Why is it not recognized? Who should be contacted? Anyone know how to fix this?

When you say he signed up with King using his email address, do you mean he made a Kingdom account? If not, where exactly did he sign up?
