Is the 1304 score requirement too high?

I've "beaten" the level now three or four times but each time I've gotten the correct combos yet failed to reach the minimum score for a 1 star and can't pass the level. I feel like if you reach the combos with moves left you shouldn't be penalized by this and forced to repeat the level again.

The only way I was able to get the score requirement was to use two color bombs separately. 

Thanks! I finally got it using a multitude of combos but i "beat" the level at least 10 times before finally getting a high enough score to move on.
