Changed to iPad Mini and Game Reset to Level 1

I know some of these answers are saying if you log into FB you should be able to recover your game level if it resets, but I NEVER logged into FB before (I actually hate FB and never use it). Is that the only way I can get back to level 681? If so, I think that is BS and I will not play this game again. I have Soda and Jelly versions and they downloaded just fine. Help if you know a way I can recover my previous game w/o FB. Thanks!

The option to connect to Facebook or Kingdom enables you to save your game to server. If you don't, it will only gets stored locally on the device so if anything happens to it or you change to a new one, there is no back up to load.
