Candy crush crashes and I lose lives and boosts

It's bad enough to lose a life because the games crashes and kicks me out but when I have used a boost or bought boosts to complete level, it's worse.  I need my boosts back

    Check for updates for your tablet and all apps installed.

    Restart your tablet too.

    Appreciate your effort but these are always the first thing I do when I have a problem. Candy crush crashed 3 times within the last 5 minutes. The last time I had chosen a color bomb and fish and had accepted extra lives so I lost all of that.
