I have been robbed of winning.

I have one cherry left to bring down when it runs out of switches BUT I still have moves left AND I have special candies left to use and yet it quits. 

The same thing happened two other times when there was only one switch left and I used a special candy to kill a chocolate which released a lot of candy but it quit on me with many moves left.

Er, yes. That's what it's supposed to do. You have to play in a way that means there will always be switches available. The game takes no account of what special candies or boosters you have in store. There must be a legitimate move available on the board.

So I gathered, however, other levels let me use special candies and boosters. I did get by it ... But thanks !
