Challenges disappearing on CCS

Since getting a new android tablet the weekly challenges load on candy crush saga whether connected to facebook or not. However once I exit the game the challenges never appear again why? This never happened with my old, more primative tablet!

Hi Combo connected to both. It allows me to play all challenges until I change games or switch tablet off then it looses the challenge, it never used to!

Do you have the game connected to Kingdom (orange button with the golden crown)?

I think you'll need to be connected to either Facebook or Kingdom in order to participate in the challenges.
