Not receiving extra lives after completion

I recently completed all existing levels available on the phone version which is linked to my facebook version of the game - since this happened I've been making my way through the levels on FB, however when i do the help others/receive help i don't get extra lives any more - there's not even an option/icon on the facebook game to use them or notify me of how many i've got...it kinda sucks because it's slowing me down no end
