I have just done an iOS upgrade to iOS 8 and lost all progress on this game. is there any way to get it back?

How did you save your game previously? Just reconnect to Facebook/Kingdom in the settings for the app (bottom left corner) if you didn't save it then I'm sorry but there's no way to get it back
