can't accesses my messages

recently got a new phone, installed candy crush, i get facebook notifications from friends for candy crush but cant access my messages its just grey.  all i can get is the gold trophy cup..

I think it might be an issue with the messages not getting through. Normally if the message box is grey is means you don't have any messages in the game. Check out this thread. It explains a little about messages and how sometimes they don't get delivered...
