I have read on this Blog that Boosters are stored locally on the PC that earned them. This from King Moderators.
I have a problem with this.
I usually play CC on my Laptop thru Facebook. My Laptop yesterday was loaned to my Son & both are currently miles away.
To get my "fix" of CC i turned on a old Desktop PC which is in my Hobby Room it had not been turned on for at least 8 weeks. It is running Linux 17.3. I used to play CC on this PC & was bookmarked to connect thru Facebook.
Everything was exactly as it was on my Laptop including Boosters.
I have to ask. Where did this PC get its info from ?. Clearly not from my Laptop as it is not here.
Moderators here have stated in reply to Players loosing Boosters is that progress & gold bars are stored in the Players Account, whilst Boosters `are stored in the PC that earned them.
Sorry, but in my case the Booster info must have come from my Account, which is held by King.
So far, i have not had a problem with Boosters going missing, but if i do, i will not accept the Moderators explanation that Boosters are stored on the PC that earned them & cannot be restored.
Baz. Thank you for clearing this up. It makes total sense to me finally.
Might i also say that it was a pleasure to see a Blog from you that was not irritating in anyway. And yes, i did add 2 + 2 & got the wrong answer. Well done Baz.
You have added 2 and 2 and got 5, I'm afraid. Boosters are stored locally only on mobile devices when the game is played through an app. On Facebook they are stored on your Facebook account. At king.com they are stored on your King account. The last two are obviously the more secure and the chances of you losing boosters is therefore exceedingly small.
