You really need the fish at least to keep the jelly under control while you concentrate on the strategy and it obviously pays to have a few lollipops to hand to deal with any stray bombs that you just can't reach. The key is to concentrate on one of the four bomb release channels at a time. Once you've dealt with a number of bombs there should be a drop which is free of them. You can then move on to another channel without having to keep a watch on this one.
