Candy Crush Saga on Facebook won't open even with Adobe Flash Player update. Why?

I was blocked from opening Candy Crush Saga with an icon saying I needed to update my Adobe Flash Player before I could play.  I updated my Flash Player with at least 3 attempts, it didn't seem too complicated.  Back on Facebook I keep getting a blank King screen and no Candy Crush and an icon saying that I need to update Flash Player.  I need better instruction than the King suggestions for getting Candy Crush Saga back.... Help!

There are two possibilities here.

1) It's not actually Flash that's the problem in which case I recommend the troubleshooting section in the FAQs (link at the bottom of this page)

2) Flash updates are notorious at failing to properly clear the previous version. Look online for a Flash removal tool to completely clear Flash out of your system then do a clean install.
