I am on 1753, been through lots of gold bars and time. Game ate my gold bars and gave me nothing!

I tried to add time with gold coins and my gold coins disappeared but I received no time? Ripped off and frustrated!!!  I am finally about to del eat Candy Crush.  Spending money for nothing sucks! 1753 is nook fun...
