Playing on ipad running iOS 9.3.5. Candy crush will not run ...

crashes every time I open the game. Reloaded app and lost 135 lives and all the boosters I had. Still doesn't run. Why?

Poor performance and app crashes often happen with the older devices. You will need to ensure that you're not using 2nd generation or older devices. With graphics and overall improvements in Candy Crush game only 3rd generation and higher are able to support the game. Or try reinstalling the latest version of the game from Aptoide app store. Might get the issue fixed.

Cez . Thank you for taking the time to reply. It turns out I have an IPad 2, which from your reply explains my issues. Unfortunately, I can't justify purchasing a new IPad just to be able to play King games. So I won't be advancing beyond my current levels (1067 CC and 340 Soda) and will be looking for games from a different company that maintains backwards compatibility.

I have the same issue, both IOS and game are up to date. Did the force stop and shut down. Un-installed CC Soda and re-installed, lost everything & got re-set to level 1, despite syncing with FB. I have over 16 GB free. The re-install crashes just as before. Maybe it is in your programs?

Edit - When I tried to play today it had synced with my FB account and I was at the level I was at before the uninstall/reinstall. First try it didn't completely load the game before it crashed. Second time, it made it to the page where you pick the level you are going to play but crashed when loading the level. Third time it loaded the level where I could see the board but crashed before I could make a play. Fourth time it crashed before the game finished loading, didn't get to the point where I can pick a level to play. At that point I gave up.
