I have uninstalled/reinstalled. I may get a game or two in then it crashes whenever I go into the game. Sometimes it just goes black before I even start.
This is the only device I own that I can play Candy Crush on.
Seems like several people have been having the same issue.
Is there a solution coming?
Hi Dramasonia,
Thank you for sharing this here on King Care.
You are absolutely right. Reason for this is that the first generation iPad Mini shares the same processor as the iPad 2.
iPad 1 & iPad 2 are not supported anymore as their processor doesn´t meet the necessary requirements.
More details can be found in this thread here https://care.king.com/en/candy-crush-saga/why-is-ipad-2-not-supported-anymore-for-candy-crush-crash
You can still enjoy our games on both Facebook and King.com.
Kindest regards,

Well that response it just appalling.
I have been playing the game for years on both my phone & ipad mini, & your only response is I have to upgrade them both??
You have lost another player, through your disregard of long time supporters.
I will be spending my money elsewhere, as will many others I am sure.
Not sure you have thought this through fully, it is an older game now, and out of favour with the cool kids, you may have shot yourselves in the foot.
Hi Anne,
There are some tips and tricks you might try on your device, to see if those improve your experience; https://care.king.com/en/candy-crush-saga/rewards-966708925#entry_73300
Apple on their end stopped releasing iOS updates for the mentioned devices too.

That may be so Tony, but why is it that the only app on my supposedly unsupported devices that doesnt work is Candy crush?
Sounds like alot of buck passing to me, has it been deemed too hard or not worth the investment?
As i pointed out in my previous post, your older loyal players are your mainstay in this game. They may, not want to shell out for a new device, but they may well spend on ingame items.
I still believe you are shooting yourselves in the foot.
