why won't candy crush saga work on my laptop now? keep getting error facebook not responding

candy crush saga will go to 100% then it shows an error that facebook not responding. have not been able to play for about  a week now. I play on my Acer laptop I have not had any problems with it in the past .I have windows 10 and would really like to continue to play the game. if unable to get resolved I guess will have to delete all game apps but really would like to continue playing is relaxing after a long day.  please advise if can get resolved
