How much memory does Candy Crush Sagacneed to run?

Candy Crush Saga won't open outside of Facebook.  The 'answer' I got was to check if I have enough memory, but I don't know how much memory it needs.  Also, does CCSaga work with the latest release of Android (marshmallow)?  Seems like this started happening right after my tablet updated.

    On any device really you want to keep up the free space to a minimum of a 1gb so your device still has some processing power spare, that's what I do generally. Memory is one thing, but the devices specs also need to be taken into consideration, what do you play on exactly?

    I have a Samsung Galaxy S 10.5 tablet, about 2 years old.  It recently upgraded to the latest Android release.  I have about 8 gig of memory available, so that probably isn't  the problem. I believe I have the latest CCSAGA release.   I can play thru Facebook without a problem, but prefer not to.  But when I click on Play outside of Facebook, I keep getting the message that 'Unfortunately, Candy Crush Saga has stopped'.  I really don't want to reinstall, especially since almost all the comments say that that doesn't solve the problem.  Any ideas?
