I have IPad 2 and every time I try to play Candy Crush Saga the screen goes black!

I have 5 lives when I start to play and then it goes black and when you open it back up you have lost a life and this does this same thing till no  lives are left!  I have done all the things I was told to do to fix the problem but have had no success! It is totally frustratingly!  Why have the IPad app game and you can't play?  If you paid for the game would that make a difference?

Which version of the iPad do you have?

If you are using an older iPad then please see this thread: https://care.king.com/en/candy-crush-saga/why-is-ipad-2-not-supported-anymore-for-candy-crush-crash 

Some of the older phones and tablets can't run the game so this might be your issue.

It can also be that you have other apps running that interferes with the game. Try a simple reboot right before playing the game to see if it solves the issue.
