What is problem with latest update Oct 18th

Since I updated Candy Crush will not reconnect to FaceBook, The App will connect to FB but fails to connect and closes.  I have repeated the process several times using Cellular Data and Wifi. I have checked for another update, but one is not available. I still have all my color bombs, special candies etc.. and I am still on same level. I can play the game and move forward, I just no longer have the connection to FB and my Friends.
