Why is the treat calendar resetting and not registering being opened daily?

I was on day 8 and it registered all 8 days opened it on day 9 and it started back at day 1.

Check your connection to Facebook in the game. I tested with mine for a while and my calendar always resets itself whenever I've not been connected to Facebook for a day, though could be a coincidence.
