My iPad Mini keeps shutting down in Candy Crush. How do i correct it or is it on your end?

Candy Crush Saga shuts down after opening or after starting a game. It's annoying and costing live on my iPad Mini. Can it be fixed?

I'm not sure that King support the original iPad mini anymore. It's not on the list of devices here:
