When you merge a fish and striped candy, the resultant 3 fishes hit 3 glasses and gives 3 striped candy effect.But in this level the striped fishes which hit the glass at the left bottom and right bottom doesn't produce the striped candy effect, instead just perishes the glass.

It's because there are 2 layers so you need to remove the top layer first
