When I try to play Candy Crush on my IPHONE 4S running IOS 9.3.5 13G36 It crashes

When I try to play Candy Crush on my IPHONE 4S running IOS 9.3.5 13G36 It crashes into a blank screen, after pressing the home button Candy Crush starts up again but with lost lives and at the start of the current level. Since the latest update I cannot buy gold bars, I get a message saying that the purchase failed and no momney has been taken from my account. What is going on and what is the solution.

If you are using an older iPhone then please see these two threads:

Some of the older phones and tablets can't run the game so this might be your issue.

This device had been working up until this week, candy crush has now locked completely after trying to buy next level, despite a message saying no money has been taken an invoice has been issued.

Some of the older phones and tablets can't run the game so this might be your issue.

Will I be able to solve this without paying.
Gift card rewards
When the game loaded a pop up came up and said I’d won a reward of some boosters, it was followed with another pop-up saying I had won on 20 gold bars. I pressed claim for both but didn’t receive. Anybody know anything about these??
Why is it like this
I played more than 50 moves and the gane remained like this without dropping the last number till it ended
