Why? there were hours left and i was on top 3 so logged on to play and keep my place.

Most likely due to the current Facebook connection issues, without being connected to Facebook or Kingdom you can't get access to those event's so I'm pretty sure it's a knock on effect. https://care.king.com/en/question/view.action?forumThreadPermalink=my-active-friends-are-gone-i-cant-send-or-recieve-lives-i-get-no-notifications
