log in via facebook

I have not been able to log into cc via Facebook for a couple of weeks now on my kindle fire hd8. Initially King Care said a number of users are having this problem and would pass it on to the tech team butt I have heard nothing and the problem is still there. Having tried to contact king Care more than once they will not Reply and have removed my question and marked it as closed. Comes in king Care please provide an update.

Mark, thanks for your help, I will try at a friend's house later. I have tried your other suggestions but when I go to settings at the start of the game I did not get a disconnect from facebook, only the option to connect. Also if I go to king.com home page I do not a settings menu. On the top right corner there is just a coloured triangle with nothing under it. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi Leigh,

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing a connectivity issue with your Kindle.

I've seen your previous thread has been linked to a help thread with trouble shooting steps:

I assume you have tried these steps without getting the connection back so I suggest you perform the following steps:

a) Try the login from another Internet connection - for instance from work, friends place or an Internet café

b) Try connecting to Kingdom instead of Facebook: https://care.king.com/en/candy-crush-saga/lost-all-levels-449422446 - If all OK with the Kingdom connect then you might want to sync your progress between Facebook and Kingdom: https://care.king.com/en/candy-crush-saga/how-can-i-transfer-my-progress-from-facebook-to-the-king-website

c) If the problem persists then I suggest you re-install the game. Before doing so please notice that any stored boosters and messages will get lost when re-installing the game.

1) Un-install the app

2) Reboot your Kindle

3) Now it's time to download the app and install it again. Find the app on Amazon Store and click on 'install'

5) After the game has been installed you should now be able to start it normally and connect the game to Facebook (blue button) or Kingdom (orange button) in order to retrieve your game progress, highscores and gold bars.
