I know that with your track record I probably wont get a reply to my problem but here it goes anyway. I have a tablet running Android 4.4.2 and I cannot get Candy Crush Saga to even start on my device. I would run the game and the orange load screen would appear with the "loading" message below the King logo. A few seconds later the three screen would go black and the arrow control buttons at the bottom of the screen jump to the top of the screen and then I'm back to the home screen. I have done all recommended fixes I have found on this support section with ZERO results. I have a HP Touchpad that has been converted to Android and the game was running fine for the last few years but all of a sudden I am getting kicked out before it even starts. I have another Android tablet running the same version and it works fine. I had an issue with another app and the support people told me that my tablet might have been rooted. I was able to unroot the tablet and their app worked fine afterwards. So if you say it wont run because the tablet is rooted, my tablet is not rooted anymore and it still does not work. The game is up to date and I have more than enough memory. Candy Crush Soda works just fine by the way.
Hi Sweetp267!
I've seen threads where older Android and iOS are no longer compatible with the game: https://care.king.com/en/candy-crush-saga/why-is-ipad-2-not-supported-anymore-for-candy-crush-crash
This thread gives an overview of compatible devices: https://care.king.com/en/blossom-blast-saga/android-ios-recommended-devices
You might try to re-install the game to see if it can solve the issue. Before doing so please make sure you have the game connected to Facebook or Kingdom in order to save your progress, highscores and gold bars.
Please notice: Your boosters and messages will get lost when re-installing so please take that into consideration
Cheers :-)
Ok what a BS answer! I already told you that I have another android tablet that is running the same exact OS as my HP Touchpad and it runs perfectly on that device. Can you come up with something else? Your list of preferred devices doesn't even show HP tablets yet the other tablet I have is HP and runs just fine. How about something else besides restarting, uninstalling or factory reset? That is a stock answer for just about any device or piece of software.
