Since when did Candy Crush starting charging tax for purchases?  Shouldn't there be a disclaimer.  It states for $15.99, yet when I get my bill it's $16.99 including tax. Ridiculous.

Answers

  • They do not charge tax, it is the fee that you see $15.99, that is all they charge, now whether it is what you are using it through; your bank account or something else may be charging you a fee. But there is not amy extra fees for your King purchase. What are using as payment method? A bank account? PayPal Google Play credit etc.?

    Hi Dee106,

King does not charge additional fees or taxes to purchases.

I suggest you check further where the tax has been added. If you did the purchase with a credit card then please consult with the provider of the credit card.

Please also consult our Consumer Terms: http://about.king.com/consumer-terms/terms/en

    As stated in point 4.11:

"The charge is inclusive of all sales taxes and other charges. Depending on which bank you use, additional charges may be issued by your bank; we have no control over this and accept no liability in relation to the same. If you are unsure whether you will be subject to such additional charges then you should check with your bank before making a purchase via our Website"

    Kind regards,

    - Mark, Team King Care

If you are playing Candy Crush Saga, the charge of taxes is added by the appstore, I'm quite sure, which would be Amazon.  Otherwise it would be some other source.
