All my progress in the European challenge disappeared

I have been playing the European challenge for many days now and made significant progress in the area of Turkey. Today I went back to play and all of my progress in only that country has disappeared as if back to square one.  What happened? 

It's doubly frustrating because I even purchased boosters to help me progress and now, with only 7 days left on the countdown my progress is down to zero.

Don't know but considering that it's a new feature being trialed, it's not surprising to hear that there might be some issues with it as it is now.
